In 1999, the Board of Directors established a charitable 501(c)(3) foundation as an extension of Eastern CT Savings Bank’s commitment to our communities. Our Foundation provides financial support to nonprofit organizations and community programs that impact the quality of life for residents of eastern Connecticut (New London and Windham Counties).
Eligibility:
- Non-profit organizations exempt from federal income tax per Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or other acceptable 501(c) status and governmental units referred to in Section 170(c)(1) of the Internal Revenue Code.
- Organizations that serve Connecticut residents of New London and Windham Counties.
- Grants must be used for a specific program or project and may not be used for general operating expenses of any organization.
- Religious institutions are not eligible, except for non-sectarian activities that benefit the community at-large.
